The Math, Business and Computer Science department is a cohesive group of teachers, striving to bring the 21st Century Standards into the classroom. With a wide array of courses – all incorporating state of the art technology, Triton ensures that the students are learning the Common Core as well as real life applications problems to produce logical and methodical student thinking and problem solving.

Mathematics, Computer Science and Business contribute in direct and fundamental ways to business, finance, medicine and health, industry, and defense. These disciplines are the essential ingredient toward building the foundation for lifelong learning in the information age.

The department offers a variety of courses to challenge each student to discover his or her individual potential and for college or career readiness. Each student is required to take and pass four years of mathematics to reach his or her maximum level of quantitative literacy, thereby allowing him or her the best opportunities in life. Courses are designed to challenge each student at a level in which he/she can be successful. Courses are also designed to support success on the MCAS, SAT, SAT1, SAT2, ACT and college entrance exams and in college level math courses.

We offer a full curriculum of courses in Math, Business and Computer Science– Marketing and Finance, Computer programming, robotics and 3D printer design. Students can join DECA or the Robotics team to enhance their education.
